My Favorite Excerpt - All About Surender....

EXT. SOUTH AMERICAN JUNGLE

Candice hears the Shaman singing...follows the sound. Tries to get to the Shaman through bushes--searches for a way. Appears to be a maze of trees and bushes, almost preventing her to get through. The Shaman continues to sing and speak as smoke rises up from a fire pit in front of him.

CANDICE

Ouch!

Brambles encase her. She uses her fingers to try and pry the vines off of her. She twists and turns and pulls.

SHAMAN

Clear your mind...

CANDICE

I'm trying!

SHAMAN

My dear, they won't harm you.

Mother earth is your friend, she

will take care of you.. See the

illusory obstacles dissolved. See

it so, feel it so, and it shall be

CANDICE

Ommmmmm...

Candice looks up at the Shaman, and we see her body relax. As she relaxes, the vines loosen their grip on he. As she walks through, she gets poked with a thorn.

CANDICE

Ouch!

SHAMAN

Doubt will catch you. Every time.

The Entire Plot Outline is Up Now

I've just posted the entire Plot Outline of "The Shift" with excerpts from the music and Lyrics from Songs.  

Also, the first 30 pages of the Musical and the first 20 pages of the old Screenplay version which I'm working on merging.  Each version follows a different main character.  I am working on putting it all together to create a series.

It is time for this story to be shared with a wide audience.  It is time for the millions of people who might still be afraid to let go of the old paradigm, to see that there is life on the other side, and that life is beautiful.  We become the stories we tell ourselves.  We create it all!  Each moment.
